Earlier this year, several RMIT University students took part in the Business Beyond Borders study tour, a program that gives students hands-on experience in global business, innovation and sustainability.
I was proud that GJK Facility Services could help make this possible through our robust scholarship program. These scholarships ensure that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of talented students gaining international experience and new perspectives.
After returning from Spain, the students came to our Melbourne headquarters to share what they learned. Hearing them speak about the innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability practices they observed was inspiring. Their reflections showed how global experiences like this can shape not just individual careers, but also how we think about leadership and community here in Australia.
At GJK, my colleagues and I have always believed in investing in people and creating opportunities for future leaders. Supporting programs like this is one of the ways we can help young Australians broaden their horizons and bring fresh ideas home.
